Bridgwater is where we're based, so a lot of our work is right here in town and in the surrounding villages. The housing is a real mix: Victorian and Edwardian terraces near the centre, plenty of post-war houses and bungalows, and newer estates on the edges of town. Each needs a slightly different approach.
Render on older and newer homes
Older terraces and bungalows often have tired pebbledash or patchy render that has cracked or come away. We take back what has failed, put on a sound scratch coat and finish in silicone render, spray cork or traditional sand and cement. Newer homes and extensions still need careful detailing at beads, windows and the base of the wall.
Inside the house
We re-skim and replaster rooms and ceilings, board and skim extensions and partitions, and leave the place tidy for decorating.
