James Plastering & Rendering
Dorset is part of our service area alongside Somerset, so we take on plastering and rendering work across the county line as well as at home in Bridgwater. From market towns to coastal and rural villages, Dorset has everything from period stone and brick cottages to post-war bungalows and new-build developments.
Rendering in Dorset
Exposed coastal homes and rural properties both put external walls through a lot. We take back tired or failing render, apply a sound scratch coat and finish in through-coloured silicone render, spray cork or sand and cement, chosen to suit the property and how exposed it is. On older buildings we keep the detailing neat where render meets stone or brick.
Plastering, ceilings and boarding
Inside, we re-skim and replaster walls, plaster ceilings, and board and skim extensions and partitions for homeowners, builders and commercial clients.
